The official Twitter page for miHoYo’s free-to-play mobile title Honkai Impact 3rd recently teased an upcoming music event, the Honkai Impact 3rd Starfire Sonorant Special Concert. Now it announced that the event will be streamed on October 5, 2021. A teaser trailer was also posted, highlighting the game’s characters and a behind-the-scenes peek at the Hoyo-Mix music team preparing for the show.
The teaser image for the concert shows Kiana, Mei, and Bronya standing on stage in full costume. This event comes just in time for the fifth anniversary of the 3D action role-playing title, originally released on October 14, 2016. Along with the Starfire Sonorant Special Concert, the title’s 5.1 update dropped earlier in September 2021, along with the new 5.1 battle pass. The 5.2 update is expected in October 2021.
Often called a spiritual successor to Honkai Academy 2, Honkai Impact 3rd is known for blending a number of gaming genres, from hack-and-slash and dungeon-crawling to social simulation. The title inspired an ongoing manhua series of the same name, along with a short 19-episode slice-of-life anime series.
The Honkai Impact 3rd Starfire Sonorant Special Concert will be livestreamed on the official Honkai Impact 3rd YouTube channel on October 5, 2021, at 19:30 (UTC+8). Honkai Impact 3rd is currently available to play on PC, as well as Android and iOS devices.
