People interested in playing this visual novel can place pre-orders on the site with a minimum price of $12.99. They can also add more funds to support the game’s development team.

Doppelganger will star all six active Holostars English VTubers as of October 2023. Although Vesper Noir and Magni Dezmond are no longer with the group, Regis Altare and Axel Syrios have since been joined by Gavis Bettel, Machina X Flayon, Banzoin Hakka, and Josuiji Shinri.

As the title implies, the visual novel will feature doppelgangers of the six male VTubers. Each persona will be known respectively as the Demon King, Exiled Prince, Showman, Abandoned Automaton, Karasu Demon, and Huntsman. The game will have six routes focusing on each character, with an additional branch leading to the true ending.

The development team is using the visual novel engine Ren’Py to develop this title. It also placed a warning that Doppelganger will only be suitable for mature audiences, as it will include themes like violence, murder, suicide, and cannibalism.

Hololive announced the Holostars English visual novel Doppelganger will be available on PCs and star the six active English Vtubers. The game’s developers also plan to release the title on Steam.
