Elsa Japan will soon begin selling Houshou Marine PC models in Japan. The Japanese PC company has revealed that it will sell three different models with varying specifications.
All three models will come with an AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPU and a GeForce RTX 30 series GPU made by the Japanese company. The cheapest U model will have a Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 3060 with a price tag of ¥327,800 (~$2,875). The middle T model will include a Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3070 at ¥437,800 (~$3,840).
The M model will be the most advanced, with a Ryzen 9 5900X and GeForce RTX 3080. It will also exclusively include an AVerMedia Live Gamer HD 2 capture card. The highest PC model will be available at ¥547,800 (~$4,800).
Houshou Marine is a popular Japanese VTuber who debuted with the third-generation Hololive Fantasy in 2019. Recently in 2021, Cover grouped Marine with Minato Aqua, Ninomae Ina’nis, and Gawr Gura to form an international marine-themed VTuber group called UMISEA. The company is also selling merchandise based on the group until November 15, 2021.
The PC idea first appeared when Houshou Marine posted about a customized PC case designed after herself in late March 2021. Elsa Japan then announced in August 2021 that it would release PCs with the same case around Fall-Winter 2021. The company had not revealed details about the PC models at that time.
Elsa Japan will begin accepting orders for the Houshou Marine PC via lottery on November 12, 2021. It will announce the lucky winners who can order the M model in December 2021 and deliver the PCs in January 2022. However, the company will only sell these PCs in Japan. The Japanese webpage has a note in English that assumes the customers purchasing the PCs will use them inside Japan.
