The new Yukihana Lamy sake bottle is a junmai daiginjo variety. For a sake bottle to qualify as daiginjo, a minimum of 50% of the outer rice layers must be polished away. Meanwhile, junmai sake is produced without additional alcohols or sugar. While the original Yukihana Lamy sake bottle had a softer and fruitier mouth feel, the new bottle will have a dry taste.

The previous Yukihana Lamy sake bottle produced by Meiri brewery was called Yuki-Yo-Zuki, and it released in 2021. It was a daiginjo bottle, and it won a bronze medal in a prestigious international wine competition.
