Hololive Vtuber Kiara Takanashi Taking Brief Streaming Break

Kiara Takanashi, one of the founding members of the Hololive English Vtuber group Myth, announced she won’t be streaming as scheduled for the next few days. While she noted there could be “guerrilla streams,” she is largely taking a break for the rest of the week of August 11, 2024.

Here is Kiara’s official statement on the situation. She cited needing to focus on work as the reason for her taking some time off. She also did confirm two streams that will be held in the near future. On August 19, 2024, she will stream with Harusaki Nodoka, the Hololive staff member who stepped into A-chan’s shoes. On August 20, 2024, she promised she will appear for a sponsored stream.

Kiara Takanashi is a Hololive English Vtubers who typically streams on a near-daily basis. For example, she streamed almost every day between August 5-11, 2024. Also notable is that on August 10-11, 2024, she took part in the HoloID Minecraft Cup with Pavolia Reine as her partner. the two of them practiced on Saturday, then took second place in the official tournament.
