Meiri will release cans of Noel’s Gin Tonic, in a collaboration with Cover and its liver, Shirogane Noel. You’ll be able to get the Noel’s Gin Tonic from March 13, 2024. [Thanks, PR Times!]
The gin uses Noel’s Potion, which is a premium craft gin that Meirin made in collaboration with Noel. While pre-orders will open from March 13, 2024, you will not get the alcohol until June 2024. They’ll come in a special box, which will contain eight cans. As for the cans themselves, they depict a sharp-looking Noel, next to the logo and above the alcohol content warning.
The press release for the gin tonic also includes some backstory as to how this drink came to being. After Noel’s Potion came in third place in the Tokyo Whiskey & Spirits Competition 2023, Meiri started to wonder what they could do to have more customers enjoy the drink. They concluded that the best way would be to make the gin tonic cocktail, which is the most basic gin mixed drink, and to put it into a can. This was to make it really accessible for casual drinkers. The Noel’s Gin Tonic project started in June 2023. Meiri has also released alcohol for other Hololive livers, including Lamy.
The Noel’s Gin Tonic alcoholic drink will be available from Meiri Shurui’s official website from March 13, 2024. The Shirogane Noel drink will cost cost 5500 JPY ($37.20) for a box of eight cans.
