Hololive Meet Brings Vtubers to Anime Central and Other Conventions

Cover announced a new Hololive Meet initiative designed to “bring” its Vtubers to conventions like Anime Central and Anime Boston. This initiative will specifically target events outside of Japan. It also means there will be new merchandise featuring Gawr Gura, Tokino Sora, and Ayunda Risu.

Given the nature of Vtubers, all Hololive Meet appearances at conventions will be virtual, video chat ones. Four are confirmed so far. However, more will be announced.

Here are the ones at which members of Hololive, Hololive English, and Hololive Indonesia will show up.

  • May 20-22, 2022: Anime Central in Rosemont, IL
  • May 27-29, 2022: Anime Boston in Boston, MA
  • June 4-5, 2022: DoKomi in Dusseldorf, Germany
  • July 16-17, 2022: SMASH! in Sydney, Australia

Only the Hololive Anime Central and Anime Boston guests have been revealed so far. First, Gawr Gura and Hakos Baelz will be at Anime Central. After that, Anime Boston will feature Ceres Fauna, Kureiji Ollie, Ouro Kronii, and Pavolia Reine.
