Cover Corp and Hololive opened registration for an upcoming closed beta test of the Holoplus app ahead of the planned global release. The deadline for applications is May 13, 2024, with the test itself planned to begin later that same month.
The app, which became available in Japan in August 2023, aims to provide a Hololive-focused news and community hub with a viewable schedule of upcoming streams. The test will require a mobile device running at least iOS version 1.4.0 or Android version 7.0, with entrants being chosen by lottery. Cover Corp. is hoping to gather user feedback and bug reports ahead of a planned global release of the app, which will be supported by microtransactions.

Meanwhile, Hololive English member Nerissa Ravencroft from the Advent generation recently released her first original song, “Say My Name”. Vtubers Machina X Flayon and Ouro Kronii are also set to appear in Hololive fighting game Idol Showdown, with Ninomae Ina’nis joining as a playable character.
Applications for the Hololive Holoplus app closed beta test will close on May 13, 2024, with the test itself set to begin sometime in May 2024, and last for several months.
