Hold It! We Have New Screenshots Of Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney

Level-5’s brainiest crossover puts Professor Hershel Layton and Phoenix Wright in the same game. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney takes place in a different and strange world for both characters. Phoenix gets caught in the middle of a witch hunt where he defends Mahoney, a girl accused of being a witch when fire suddenly appears and burns two people.

While the Ace Attorney games had sprites, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney uses 3D character models. Phoenix Wright is still himself, though. His trademark finger pointing and worried look animations are just like the Nintendo DS / Game Boy Advance games.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is slated for release next year on Nintendo 3DS.
