People opting for a Hitman 3 PC copy will either have to make sure they have an Epic Games Store account or be willing to wait. IO Interactive confirmed that it will be a timed exclusive and only available on that storefront for 12 months.
What’s interesting is that the Epic Games Store Hitman 3 copies will work with Hitman 2 games you didn’t get from there. In its announcement, Io Interactive confirmed that people who bought the previous games from Steam to still import their progress and locations.
There’s another bonus to all this, even as it limits people’s purchasing options. As part of this announcement, a free Hitman giveaway was confirmed. People will be able to get it from Epic Games Store for free between August 27 and September 3, 2020.
Finally, the Hitman and Hitman 3 news for the day wrapped up with a new trailer showing off Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor, England, where Agent 47 will be conducting some “business” in the newest game.
Hitman 3 will come to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia in January 2021. The Hitman 3 PC version will be an Epic Games Store exclusive until 2022.
