The History Of Rare To Be Compiled In A Book Releasing Later This Year

Over the years, Rare has been involved with a number of memorable videogames, such as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country, just to name a few. Now, a book is set to release that will detail the company’s history in the videogame industry.

Published by Dark Horse, Rare Treasures will cover the studio’s history from its beginnings all the way up to the present, complete with “art, commentary, and brand-new insights from the team.”

We don’t have much more information about this must-have book for fans of Rare games, but you can preorder a copy of the book for yourself here, and it’ll be available up until May 22nd. Rare Treasures has a tentative release date of August 30th, 2017.
