Himouto! Umaru-chan Rolls Out New Screenshots For Her PS Vita Game

FuRyu are working on a game for Himouto! Umaru-chan for PlayStation Vita, where you’ll get to take care of Umaru like a virtual pet while checking out some of the game’s original story. 4Gamer shares a look at some of the latest screenshots.

Here is Umaru just being Umaru. The stats show “Knowledge,” “Game,” “Exercise,” and “Housework.” There’s also a bar that shows her “Active Power,” “EXP,” and “HP.”

Ebina says that she’s feeling pretty nervous even though she knows that they’re all looking at Umaru-chan.

You’ll need to help Taihei make some choices throughout the game. In the above screenshot, he’s shown wondering how should he communicate with Kirie, considering that she’s been taking care of Umaru.

His choices are:

• Let’s not do anything unnecessary

• Let’s ask all kinds of questions

• Tell her a bit about myself

Kirie congratulates her mistress Umaru.

As previously reported, the game is split between two parts, where you’ll take care of Umaru like a Tamagotchi while she’s being a slob at home, and a visual novel adventure part when she’s in her “outdoors” form.

The game features numerous original events along with characters that are fully-voiced by their respective voice actors from the anime.

Himouto! Umaru-chan: Himouto Upbringing Project will release in Japan in winter 2015 for PlayStation Vita.
