Characters like the Platformer, the Spacemarine, the Fighter, and the First Person Perspective are all left to help discover the killer in their own ways. The challenge for the player, though, is that each of these characters is caught up in their own memories, which play out in the styles of the games they are stereotyped from. Players will play through platforming, RPG, and isometric tactical combat as each person recalls their past.

Being developed by the creator of Pony Island, The Hex promises a complex, secret-heavy story and some unexpected developments through its games-within-a-game. It is slated to release sometime in 2017.
