The game has a demo that you can try right here in your browser. It’s controlled using the WASD keys and your mouse. It drops you right into the game with no explanation beforehand, so you can get started on your adventure right away.

A simple piece of text at the top of the screen tells you which direction you’re facing, and this is what you’ll mainly refer to, in order to make your way around. You can also pause to view a map if you find yourself going around in circles. Battles, too, are handed through a simple, elegant menu.

It isn’t for everyone, but it’s easy enough to try that you may as well give it a shot.
