Remember the three versions of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete? One of them is a PlayStation 3 hardware bundle containing Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, the coveted Final Fantasy XIII demo disc, and a special “Cloud Black” console with a 160GB hard drive. While 160GB PS3s are nothing new for us the Cloud Black PS3 is the first 160GB PlayStation 3 for Japan and Sony is pricing it accordingly. The Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children bundle will retail for 49,980 yen ($550) when it comes out on April 16.
The Final Fantasy XIII Trial Version Set package comes with demo too and it retails for 5,900 yen ($65). Meanwhile a standalone copy of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete goes for 4,900 yen ($53). That’s right Square Enix is charging you an extra 1,000 yen ($11) for the demo which for all we know could be released as a free download over the PlayStation Network in the future.
