Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is getting an open beta in Japan starting December 23, and Square Enix provided more information on what we can expect to see, including details for the five modes.
Here are the modes available for Dissidia Final Fantas NT’s upcoming open beta test:
Class Match
This mode lets you go online and fight 3v3 battles in a party. Class Match (Solo) is for solo-queues to go against other players on your own, while Class Match (Party) lets you team up with a friend and take on other players together.
Rush Battle
A single-player mode that lets you take on CPU opponents in 3v3 party battles.
Customize
You can freely customize EX Skills, character skins, symbol chats, and battle BGM.
Story
This moe lets you experience the battles of the warriors by unlocking the sealed memories. You can increase your P.LV to acquire the necessary Memoria to do so.
Treasure
You can unlock the “Treasure” acquired from each mode to score rewards such as character skin, symbol chats, player icons, and more. Think of it as a lootbox reward system that you can earn from playing.
The first open beta session takes place from December 23 to December 24. The next one runs December 30 through December 31. The last session will be from January 6 to January 7. They’ll be playable on all three sessions from 6:00pm JST to 11:00pm JST on the six days that it’ll be available.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 11, in North America and Europe on January 30, 2018. Check out our previous report for a look at the game’s Jump Festa 2018 trailer and more.
