Citizens of NLA (New Los Angeles) in Xenoblade Chronicles X are living on a different planet, but their home emulates the look of the one back on planet Earth before it was destroyed. The official website shares another look at the city, and what it looks like at night.

In this video, we have Elma and Lynlee flying in an aircraft above NLA to give us a little tour of all of its areas. It starts out around the industrial area, where they test aircrafts, grow food, make weapons, and develop the mech-like weapons known as Dolls. This place has an exit to the west, so you’ll be passing by frequently.

Next, at the 1:00 mark, we see a little bit of the commercial area. As the name implies, the place is has all kinds of shops, cafes, restaurants, and apparel shops. All kinds of people gather here, and it’s one of the more lively places of NLA.

The residential area is where the NLA citizens have their homes. It has a homely feeling similar to what they had back on Earth, including a church and a large park. Elma says it’s a nice area to go to when you want a quiet place to read a book, or if you have some thoughts you need to sort out.

Finally, the BLADE area is considered the heart of NLA. This area is split into the upper and lower area. The upper area has the BLADE homes, where the organization’s members all have a place to sleep. The bottom area has space that’s used to upgrade and repair Dolls. This is also where BLADE members gather, give and accept quests.
