Here’s What a PS5 Game’s Box Will Look Like

Another minor, yet also major, PlayStation 5 milestone has arrived. We now have some idea of what PS5 game box art will look like. Sony shared two images of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 game case on the PlayStation Blog. In what probably won’t be a total shock, it doesn’t look all that different from a PlayStation 4 game case.

First, here is a look at the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 box art. At the top of the box’s cover insert is the PlayStation 5 logo uses a black font and is set against a white background. This also appears on the edge of the case. The case itself is made of a translucent blue plastic.

To compare, here is the Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 box art. It is nearly identical, though the PlayStation 4 logo in white is set against a blue background. It also features the “only on PlayStation” text across its banner.

The PlayStation Blog announcement once again confirmed that people will be seeing the PlayStation 5 and its games on store shelves for the 2020 holiday season. However, an exact release date has yet to be set for the upcoming console. We also still don’t know how much it will cost.
