Fatal Frame 5—known in the West as Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water—is coming to North America and Europe, and Nintendo showed off English-language footage of the game during their E3 livestream yesterday.

In Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, the water around Mt. Hikami, which is where the game is set, is cursed. Whenever you get rained or come into contact with large water bodies, you fill up a wetness gauge. This lowers your defenses, and so the goal is to keep yourself as dry as possible.

Interestingly, in addition to its main scenario, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water also has an entirely separate second quest that features Ayane from Koei Tecmo’s Dead or Alive series. In this story, Ayane is searching for a girl that has fled to the mountains after a failed suicide attempt, and this mode plays like a stealth game.

In Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will be available this Fall on Wii U.
