When the Nintendo Direct Mini’s Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster trailer dropped, we had an opportunity to see a little over a minute’s worth of footage from the upcoming game. However, people in Japan got a little better look. The trailer that’s shown up there is an extended version with over a minute more of gameplay footage. Which means now people can get an even better look at SMTIII Nocturne HD Remaster ahead of its launch.

Here’s the extended SMT III Nocturne HD Remaster trailer released in Japan. You can get an even better look at its battle system and the different demons you’ll fight both against and alongside. It even shows how you could go with the new difficulty level, Merciful, or play on Normal or Hard.

There are also more screenshots to look through, thanks to Nintendo releasing some showing off gameplay and Raidou with the ever-helpful and wise Gouto-Douji.

SMT III Nocturne HD Remaster will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 29, 2020, and its official website is now open. Japan will also be getting a special edition with a soundtrack and an “aroma lamp.” Its worldwide release will occur sometime in Spring 2021. You can also find the original Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne on the PlayStation 2 worldwide.
