On March 28, 2024, Diablo 4 will be part of Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Microsoft explained how a PC player can install it at launch. As this involves also installing Battle.net and account linking, it involves a few steps.
There are a few things you will need for this process, and getting some of them ahead March 28, 2024 may help speed things along. Installing Battle.net on your PC ahead of time will help save some time, as will making an account there. You also will need the Xbox App for Windows PC, if you don’t have that already.
Having both ready, as well as an account with Activision Blizzard’s service, means that when Diablo 4 goes live on Xbox Game Pass, the installation process will go more smoothly. You’ll just log into the Xbox App, choose to install the game from there, which will then take you to Battle.net and your account connected to your Microsoft one to go through with the PC download.
Microsoft also released a graphic that went through all four steps in the process, to make things easier for players.
Diablo 4 is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will be on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox consoles and Windows PC starting on March 28, 2024.
