  • Abyss Surges
This is a fantastic weapon for Lingyang, as he needs both the Energy Regeneration boost and the Basic Attack DMG buff. When he hits an enemy with Abyss Surges, he can also increase his Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. The downside is that it’s a 5-star, but you can set it as your guaranteed weapon via the Winter Brume banner.
  • Hollow Mirage
Hollow Mirage plays well with Lingyang’s kit because it gives him an ATK and DEF increase whenever he uses his Resonance Liberation. When he takes damage, the stacks reduce by 1. A major downside of Lingyang compared to his fellow 5-star attackers is that his stats are poorer. The buffs from Hollow Mirage can help to mitigate this downside.
  • Marcato
Marcato can restore Resonance Energy when Lingyang use his Resonance Skill. Because of how useful his Striding Lion state is (and how his Resonance Liberation helps to put him into it without needing to charge anything), the more Resonance Energy he can get, the better.
  • Originite: Type IV
Originate: Type IV can restore HP when Lingyang attacks with his Basic Attack. The effect isn’t fantastic despite Lingyang’s lower stats because of his Striding Lion auto-dodge. However, what makes Originite: Type IV a pretty good weapon for him is that it’s got Crit DMG as a main stat.
  • Gauntlets of Night
Gauntlets of Night is a good weapon but not the best one compared to the other ones on this list. If you have another pair of Gauntlets to give Lingyang, you should prioritize that one. Gauntlets of Night increases ATK for 10 seconds after Lingyang uses his Intro Skill.

These are the Best Lingyang Echoes in Wuthering Waves

When choosing Echoes, you should prioritize ones with Freezing Frost or Lingering Tunes as their Sonata Effect. Both are very good for Lingyang, so it’s up to you whether you want to combine their 2-pc effects or go for one of their 5-pc.

In terms of stats, since Lingyang is a DPS, he’s fairly easy to build. You’ll want to give him Crit stats such as Crit Rate or Crit DMG, as well as Glacio DMG and ATK %. Don’t worry too much about HP or DEF or anything like that. You can also consider giving him some Energy Regeneration either with his weapon or his Echoes, as the more often he can easily enter Striding Lion state, the better. Below is a list of all the Echoes with the above two Sonata Effects.

Freezing Frost (2-pc: Glacio DMG+; 5-pc: Glacio DMG+ after using Basic or Heavy Attack, stacking up to 3 times)

  • Lampylumen Myriad (4)
  • Autopuppet Scout (3)
  • Roseshroom (3)
  • Tambourinist (3)
  • Excarat (1)
  • Fusion Prism (1)

  • Gulpuff (1)

Lingering Tunes (2-pc: ATK+; 5-pc: additional and gradual ATK+ and Outro Skill DMG+)

  • Mech Abomination (4)
  • Chasm Guardian (3)
  • Flautist (3)
  • Spearback (3)
  • Diamondclaw (1)
  • Fusion Prism (1)
  • Hooscamp (1)
  • Snip Snap (1)
  • Tick Tack (1)
