Earlier today we reported a new entry in the Atelier Arland series, which we now know it officially as Atelier Lulua: The Alchemist of Arland 4. Here’s a first look from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.
Keep in mind that other than the title that is spelled in the logo, the spelling of the character names aren’t official until we get something from Gust or Koei Tecmo. Here are highlights from the magazine featuring a look at the latest characters by Mel Kishida and more:
“Rorona. That is the name of my beloved mother.”
Here’s the first screenshot, provided by Famitsu.
Here’s a closer look at the protagonist Elmerulia Frixell:
Lulua finds a mysterious book that is filled with all kinds of keywords. This is what you’ll be using to progress through the game.
The synthesis system is a familiar puzzle-like game that is made as an evolved version based on the Arland series’ system.
The battle system will have elements from the Mysterious series with new systems added in.
Gathering will be closer along the lines of Atelier Totori.
This is Lulua’s childhood friend, Eva Armster.
She’s a hard-working girl who helps out at the nursery school. She may be kind and gentle, but goes all out in battle with extravagant weapons.
Atelier Lulua: The Alchemist of Arland 4 releases in Japan in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
