Frog Vibes and A Hat in Time developer Gears for Breakfast are working on a relaxed platformer where your only goal is to help make others happy. It will eventually come to both the Nintendo Switch and PC.

How do you help people? Well, the Here Comes Niko announcement trailer offers a general idea of some objectives. Niko might need to explore the vicinity to meet people’s goals. One character explains they can’t climb too high and needs help from Niko. Other activities shown include investigating a crime scene, making graffiti, feeding a snail, tending to flowers, and catching bugs. It also looks like you’ll take care of a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet.

The developers shared a first batch of screenshots too, which show some potential collectibles and the virtual pet.

Here Comes Niko is in development for the Nintendo Switch and PC. The Steam product listing is live and confirms it will have trophies and cloud save support. No release date was offered, but the Steam page says it is “coming soon.”
