Here are the Best Light Cones and Relics for Guinaifen in Honkai: Star Rail

Guinaifen in Honkai: Star Rail is a four-star Fire Nihility character who excels at inducing Burn DoT on characters. As such, she requires a different set of Light Cones or Relics than how you would normally build a character.

Like Kafka, Guinaifen focuses on Burn damage, and she can also inflict the unique debuff Firekiss. DoT in Honkai: Star Rail focuses mostly on the ATK stat, so Guinaifen does not require any Crit Rate or Crit DMG. You can also focus on raising her Effect Hit Rate and Energy Regeneration. Effect Hit Rate will help her land Burn and Firekiss with more consistency against enemies that have high Effect RES. Meanwhile, Energy Regeneration will help Guinaifen use her Ultimate more. Her Ultimate not only deals Fire DMG, but it can instantly activate the Burn DoT on an enemy.

Here are the Best Light Cones for Guinaifen

  • Patience is All You Need
This is Kafka’s signature Light Cone that specializes in DoT damage and increasing SPD. While Guinaifen can only inflict Burn and Firekiss by default, Patience is All You Need can also debuff enemies with Erode, which will cause Lightning DoT. As a 5-star Light Cone, this is also a good stat stick that will raise her ATK.
  • Incessant Rain
Silver Wolf’s signature Light Cone focuses on raising Effect Hit Rate. While the passive Crit Rate increase doesn’t really help Guinaifen that much, Incessant Rain can also implant Aether Code. This will increase how much damage they take for a turn. Like with the above Patience is All You Need, this is a 5-star Light Cone that can also act as a stat stick even if you don’t care about the passive.
  • Good Night and Sleep Well
This Light Cone can increase how much damage the user deals based on how many debuffs the enemy has. This also applies to DoT. This is a fantastic Light Cone in general for Nihility characters that operate off of DoTs.
  • Eyes of the Prey
Eyes of the Prey raises Effect Hit Rate and increases DoT by 24% at Superimposition 1. This is a four-star Light Cone that players who’ve been around for a while should have more than a few copies of. Both effects are really good for Guinaifen, and since it’s a four-star, you can get some relatively good stats from it once you level it up.
  • We Will Meet Again
Because Guinaifen’s Skill hits multiple enemies at once, you can try putting We Will Meet Again on her. The effect deals additional DMG based on a percentage of the wearer’s ATK whenever they use their Basic ATK or Skill. However, it only hits a random enemy. This works best if you want to use Guinaifen against a crowd of enemies.

Here are the Best Relics for Guinaifen in Honkai: Star Rail

As mentioned earlier, there are a few main stats that you want to have on Guinaifen’s Relics when you’re farming. What you put on her depends on how good your sub stats are. In general, you want to prioritize ATK, Effect Hit Rate, and Energy Regeneration. SPD will depend on who you’re running her with, since that’ll affect how you speed tune.

  • 2-pc Musketeer, 2-pc Firesmith of Lava-Forging
This is the optimal build for Guinaifen that takes advantage of Musketeer’s ATK boost, as well as Firesmith’s Fire DMG boost. It’ll help to maximize how much damage Guinaifen can do, whether it’s with her Skill and Ultimate, or with her DoT.
  • 4-pc Firesmith of Lava-Forging
You could potentially use a full set of Firesmith for Guinaifen. Not only does it increase her Fire DMG, but it also increases how much damage her Skill does. It also boosts her Fire DMG after her Ultimate. You can try this build if you have a lot of good sub stats.
  • 2-pc Firesmith of Lava-Forging, 2-pc Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
In general, SPD is a really important stat in Honkai: Star Rail. Guinaifen in particular wants quite a bit of SPD so that she can apply Burn and Firekiss as much as possible.
  • 4-pc Prisoner in Deep Confinement
This is a fantastic Relic Set for Guinaifen (and any other DoT-oriented character). Not only does it raise her ATK, but it also decreases an enemy’s DEF whenever they take damage from a DoT. Since Guinaifen’s entire kit revolves around applying Burn, this will help maximize her potential as a sub-DPS.
  • Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise
This Planar Ornament Set raises Guinaifen’s Effect Hit Rate, which helps her land Burn and Firekiss better. A 100% infliction rate doesn’t necessarily mean that the DoT will land. So adding onto it with this Planar Ornament is a good idea, especially with how much of Guinaifen’s damage comes from her DoTs.
  • Space Sealing Station
Because of Space Sealing Station’s ATK boost, this is a good Planar Ornament to increase how much damage Guinaifen can deal with her DoTs. It’s a toss-up between this and Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise as to which is better, so choose based on what stats you need and what main stats you have.
  • Sprightly Vonwacq
This focuses more on Guinaifen’s Energy Regeneration. However, because her Ultimate is not so important you need a whole Planar Ornament set for that, you should only use this if you have no other good Relics for the above Sets.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Guinaifen is permanently available in Honkai: Star Rail as a four-star character.
