Here Are Some Of The Mecha Series Participating In The New Super Robot Taisen

Earlier tonight, we reported that this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine revealed a new Super Robot Taisen game for the Nintendo 3DS. While it may not be the final list, here’s what we now know about some of the participating series in the game. [Thanks, Zaregoto]

Here’s the list of series that will participate in Super Robot Taisen BX:

• Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn

• Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer

• Macross Frontier the Movie

• Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact!

• Mazinkaizer SKL

• Martian Successor Nadesico

• Aura Battler Dunbin

• New Story of Aura Battler Dunbin

• Matchless Raijin-Oh

• The King of Braves GaoGaiGar

Meanwhile, below are some series that will be participating for the first time:

• Mobile Suit Gundam AGE

• SD Gundam Gaiden

• Macross 30

• Panzer World Galient

• Giant Gorg

The battle system has an enhanced partner system, and it is said to be different than the tag battle system you’re used to, with improvement on the tactics operations. As for the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE parts, they will mainly focus around the Kio Asuno bit, but will also have characters from the other generations.

Super Robot Taisen BX will release in Japan on August 20, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS. It will cost 6,640 yen at release.
