How do Exosuit Roles and Variant Suits Work in Exoprimal?

The 10 Exoprimal launch Exosuits are divided into three core roles: assault, tank, and support. Assault is your basic DPS role, focusing on dealing the most damage possible to the hordes of enemies you face. On the other hand, tank suits are there to help players protect their allies from danger.

Inevitably, you and your teammates will likely take some damage, though, and that is where the support role comes into play. These suits focus on healing teammates while also having the option to buff allies and debuff enemies to help the squad survive and thrive in matches.

At launch, players have access to the 10 core Exosuits above, but there are also variant suits that will be available. Each suit has an alpha variant that changes up its overall design and some of its loadout, too. These variant suits may use different weapons, which could make certain suits more desirable to players.

Exoprimal will release on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 14, 2023.
