Capcom are holding a contest for Monster Hunter fans to design a weapon that will be included in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the publisher has announced.
Your weapon entry must be based on the 14 weapon classes in the game—Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Lance, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade.
You’re free to include a brief weapon description (under 100 words) along with your entry, although this is optional. A single entry will be accepted per-participant, and you can mail your weapon designs to [email protected] with the subject “MH4U WEAPON DESIGN”.
Two winners will be selected, one from the Americas and one from Europe and Australia. The deadline is May 5th, and you can find more information at Capcom Unity. You may recall that Capcom held a similar contest for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as well. The results of that event can be seen here.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be available in the west in early 2015.
