While Japan isn’t getting PlayStation 4 this year, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan will release a new console for the holidays. PlayStation Vita TV runs select Vita titles (digital and retail!) like God Eater 2 and Danganronpa on your TV. It looks like some developers are patching their games to support PS Vita TV too. The 9,480 yen ($95) device also plays PSP games and PsOne titles.

Sony is also positioning PS Vita TV as a digital media player since the device can play videos from Hulu as well as local providers like Tsutaya TV and NicoNico. The snazzy little device can also be used for PS4 remote play if you want to play Knack or Infamous: Second Son in another room.

PlayStation Vita TV will be available on November 14 in Japan.
