Earlier in August 2023, Sanrio and Sunblink announced the Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala would join Hello Kitty Island Adventure in 1.1. Now, there are more details about the August 25, 2023 update. There will be a new area, items, and story questline connected to it. A new event will also appear. In addition, four new Sanrio characters tied to Cinnamoroll and Tuxedosam will show up as Hello Kitty Island Adventure visitors.
Once the game updates, we can meet with the Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala at the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Cloud Island region. This will mean new quests. While there, you can also build up new visitor cabins. If you befriend the twins, you can get Dreamy Set clothing and furniture. The new recipe ingredients will be Moon Cheese, Snowcicles, and Starfruit, which can be used in new recipes.
As for the new visitors, it seems they’ll arrive in batches. Tuxedosam’s little brothers Pam and Tam will both be Hello Kitty Island Adventure visitors. The announcement teased both like tropical furniture. Also, like Dear Daniel and Mimmy, there will be location requirements for them. They will only stay in cabins in the Resort Plaza, near where Tuxedosam has his clothing shop. The Cinnamoroll characters Espresso and Mocha will also start visiting. However, both of them won’t show up until September 2023.
Finally, there’s going to be a Summer’s End Celebration. This event will begin on August 29, 2023. It is split into a new login reward calendar and an item collection activity. Apparently, sunscreen will appear on the beach. If you find it, you can bring it to the Celebration Stand. When you do, you can get themed furniture for cabins.
Here’s the new trailer for the Hello Kitty Island Adventure 1.1 update.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available via Apple Arcade for iOS and Macs, and the 1.1 update will bring Little Twin Stars and other characters on August 25, 2023.
