This is one of many returns to the title track for Kingdom Hearts. Back in March 2024, to go along with their greatest hits album Science Fiction, Hikaru Utada released the “Hikari” music video again. That was the Japanese version of the song that debuted in the Japanese release of the PS2 game. That was followed by a re-recording of “Hikari” shortly after.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC will come to the PC via Steam on June 13, 2024. The games are already available on the PC via Epic Games Store now. People can also find these collections and the third game on the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch via the Cloud.
