The Rising Tide expansion for Final Fantasy XVI came out in April 2024, and the official account for the game uploaded a clip of “Torn from the Heavens” from Final Fantasy XIV as it appears in the DLC. This is one of two FFXIV tracks that’s part of the FFXVI DLC.
Here’s the FFXIV song from FFXVI:
“The Rising Tide,” which is the name of the DLC for Final Fantasy XVI, came out on April 18, 2024. This DLC included a post-game story focusing on Clive and his companions traveling to the mysterious land of Mysidia in order to rescue the Dominant of Leviathan. Aside from a new story, there’s also new endgame content, as well as new abilities that Clive can use. Aside from the “Torn from the Heavens” Orchestrion Roll, you can also get an Orchestrion Roll of “Through the Maelstrom,” which is also from Final Fantasy XIV. Finally, you can get “Curtana,” which is the Final Fantasy XIV Warrior of Light’s signature weapon.
Even if you do not get the DLC, you can still install Update Version 1.30. This version includes several QoL improvements, a new Skill Set feature, customizable button layouts, Photo Mode, and more. This update is for everyone.
Final Fantasy XVI is readily available on the PS5.
