Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Remix is an upgraded version of Project Mirai 2, and in addition to having Vocaloids sing certain songs other than their own, the game will feature extra mini-games for players to check out.
The first is a look at the Puyo Puyo mini-game, which you can play by yourself against CPU opponents. Depending on which character, they’ll have their own special moves, too.
The Puyo Puyo mini-game will also let you play against your buddies with local connectivity. Players will get to show off their partner characters and pit them against each other in Puyo Puyo, but both players will need copies of the game.
Once you’re in the “My Room” menu, there’s an extra mini-game option that will let you check out some board games. The “Mikkuriversi” is basically the Reversi game with a little Miku twist.
The Reversi mini-game goes by the traditional rules, but the website hints that there might be some kind of added gimmicks to the game. Additionally, the Reversi mini-game will scale according to your skills, so that it’ll always be pretty challenging.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Remix will release in North America on May 26 and in Europe on May 29, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
