Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid Sanrio Character Plush Heading to Arcades

Sega announced it will offer a number of Vocaloid Sanrio character plush toys in March 2025, with some of the featured mascots being Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Cinnamoroll, and My Melody. There will be three “volumes” in this collection, with each one featuring two Piapro singers and two Sanrio icons. All of them will appear in Japanese arcades starting on March 14, 2025.

12 characters total appear in these three collections. While Hello Kitty is Sanrio’s most famous icon, she doesn’t appear in any of them. Volume 1 features Hatsune Miku, Cinnamoroll, Megurine Luka, and My Melody. Volume 2 includes the twins Kagamine Rin and Len, Pompompurin, and Badtz Maru. The third volume stars Meiko, Kaito, Pochacco, and Tuxedo Sam. Each plush is about four inches tall. They all also are designed to match. So the Miku plush has Cinnamoroll’s coffee cup, while Cinnamoroll has her twintail hair accessories. Both Kaito and Tuxedo Sam are wearing the same sailor hat and blue scarf. Len and Badtz Maru feature matching expressions, neckties, and X and O accessories.

Here’s how all 12 of the items will look, divided up by the three collections.

There have been a ton of Hatsune Miku and Sanrio character items and plush appearing lately. Some of them paired her up with Cinnamoroll and his friends. However, we also know that there’ll be a figure of her with Kuromi eventually too. There’s no word on if there’ll be a Hatsune Miku My Melody figure too.

The Piapro x Sanrio Characters plush toys that pair up Vocaloids like Hatsune Miku with characters like Cinnamoroll will appear in Japanese arcades starting on March 14, 2025. There’s no word yet on if Sega will eventually make them available outside of Japan via other stores or sites.
