Natsume’s new Harvest Moon won’t only be on the Nintendo Switch. A Harvest Moon: One World PS4 version has also been confirmed. With that announcement comes other news too. The release window has now been pinned down to Fall 2020. Also, we finally have more than a logo against a white background to look at, as the PlayStation 4 version’s box art offers a peek at character and animal designs.
The Harvest Moon: One World box art offers a general idea of some of the animals and produce we’ll see in the game. The male and female avatar options are seen from behind, with both being brunettes with anime-style appearances. A dog, horse, and chicken are behind them. (The dog this time around looks like a collie.) They’re overlooking a farm, which has a pen that has cows, goats, and sheep in it. In the fields, you can see crops like cabbage heads, corn, eggplants, lettuce heads, pineapples, strawberries, tomatoes, turnips, and watermelons growing. There are also apples and peaches growing on trees, and it seems like flowers like sunflowers could be available.
As a reminder, Natsume is going to be a part of the NGPX event on June 23, 2020, alongside companies like NIS America, Sega, Atlus, and Koei Tecmo. That could be when the company will show off Harvest Moon: One World gameplay for the first time.
Harvest Moon: One World PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions will appear in the Americas in Fall 2020.
