Xseed announced more formal plans for Half-Minute Hero (aka Yuusha 30 in Japan). The PSP game will be in stores this October. Marvelous’ creative game puts you in the unique position of saving the world in thirty seconds.
Hero mode is like a micro RPG where you randomly fight enemies by dashing into them, level up, and offer money to the Goddess of Time to rewind time. Princess mode is a shooter where you blast through mammoths and slide on the Goddess of Time’s lane to restore time. There are four modes and you’ll be able to try one of them today when a demo arrives on the PlayStation Store. Xseed plans to release another demo, but haven’t announced a release date for it.
Try the demo if you’re even a tiny bit curious. Out of all the quirky games I’ve played this year, Half-Minute Hero is one of my favorites.
