Bandai Namco’s Hajime no Ippo game certainly captures the feel of the manga with its comic style cutscenes. The PlayStation 3 title follows the original storyline and adds full voice acting. There aren’t many details about how Hajime no Ippo plays, but the first screenshots shown on Famitsu makes it look kind of like Punchout!!
In addition to Ippo Makunouchi, Ichiro Miyata is confirmed as a playable character.
Hajime no Ippo is slated for release on December 11 in Japan.
