Namco Bandai released a trailer for the .hack movie, which gives us a glimpse of .hack//Versus. Kinda looks like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm doesn’t it? No surprise there since CyberConnect2 is behind both projects.
Details about the fighting system are still coming in, but what we know now is Sora (a Twin Blades user) has a special skill called "Exceed" which lets her level up during battle. This boosts her attack and speed. Final Rush is Sora’s ultimate skill, which triggers a coordinated team attack with her friends. Haseo can switch attack styles in the middle of battle. His first form uses twin blades, 2nd form has a great sword, 3rd form uses a scythe, and Xth form has dual pistols. Haseo’s ultimate attack is the Terror of Death Scythe.
This PS3 fighting game comes with .hack the Other Side of the World in a Hybrid Disc, just like Tekken Hybrid. Japan gets the bundle on June 28. Help us push for an international release and participate in our Take us back to The World campaign!
