Gust Gets Busy With PS3 Development

Classic RPG developer Gust tested waters on the Nintendo DS and flirted with the PSP with a Mana Khemia port. Now they made a decision on which of the three consoles they will develop for. Drum roll please… its the PlayStation 3 and they are bringing the Atelier series to Sony’s console.

A teaser ad in Dengeki PlayStation announced Atelier Rorona as a PlayStation 3 game. The image looks like it has character art and a rather somber message of a heroine or perhaps a hero who is tired of saving the world. Unless Gust has a plot that doesn’t deal with imminent doom someone is going to have to save the world again. More details will be revealed in the March 27 issue of Dengeki PlayStation. I’m hoping for high resolution sprite art.
