Gungrave G.O.R.E. Japanese Voice Actors Revealed

Koch Media has revealed the Japanese voice actors that will appear in Gungrave G.O.R.E. and the composers that will create the music for the upcoming action game. Several voice actors will reprise their roles from the Gungrave animated series. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Tomokazu Seki will return as Brandon “Beyond the Grave” Heat. Additionally, Fumihiko Tachiki will once again voice Bunji Kugashira and Kumi Sakuma will voice Mika Asagi. Finally, Akio Otsuka will voice Zell Condorbrave. The new characters include Ganpo Essex (CV: Masami Iawasaki), and Cheni Quartz Angel (CV: Masumi Asano). This is currently the full list of the Japanese actors that will provide the voices for major characters in Gungrave G.O.R.E.

Additionally, composers Tetsuya Shibata and Yoshino Aoki will create the music for the title. Shibata is primarily known for his work on Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy XV. Aoki has also previously composed music for Capcom series such as Breath of Fire and the Mega Man Battle Network games.

Originally announced in 2018, Gungrave G.O.R.E  had a planned 2019 release. However, the game saw a subsequent delay to 2020. News about the title remained sparse until Tokyo Game Show 2021, which revealed a new trailer. Additionally, a post from the official PlayStation blog revealed that concept artist Ikumi Nakamura was involved in designing the antagonist for the title.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2022.
