Gundam Zeon Mobile Suits’ HG Gunpla Model Kits Restocked

Bandai Spirits has revealed that it will restock three of its Gunpla model kits from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and sell them exclusively on Premium Bandai. While the company is also producing kits from other universes like Gundam SEED‘s Cosmic Era and Iron-Blooded Orphans‘ Post Disaster timeline, the three Gunpla kits in this list are based on mobile suits from the Zeon side in the Universal Century timeline. All three kits will also have the same HG (High Grade) 1/144 scale. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

The first one will be Char Aznable’s customized version of the High Mobility Type Zaku II, which was originally used by the Brown Southern Cross team in the 2022 movie adaptation of Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island. The kit is originally getting released in March 2025, but its pre-order stock ran out much earlier. Bandai will release a new batch of the kits in May 2025 at 2,750 yen (~$18.35).

The second kit features the Zaku Desert Type used by the Pink Panther Corps, which appeared in Gundam: Mobile Suit Discovery side story materials and has no relations at all with the famous American movie mascot. The first batch is slated for release in April 2025 at 2,640 yen (~$17.60). Bandai newly announced that it will release the second batch in June 2025 with the same price tag.

The third and last kit in the list will feature the original AMX-014 Doven Wolf from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. The mobile suit was previously featured in the HGUC (High Grade Universal Century) line in February 2014. It will be available again in July 2025 at 2,640 yen (~$17.60).

The 1/144 HG (High Grade) Gunpla model kits of Char Custom High Mobility Zaku II, Pink Panther Corps’ Zaku Desert Type, and Doven Wolf from the Zeon factions will be available again in May 2025, June 2025, and July 2025, respectively.
