Bandai Namco revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu that Guncannon, Gouf, Kyrios, and Tallgeese are being added as new Mobile Suits for Gundam Versus on PS4. Here’s more on new system details. [Thanks, Hachima.]

Boost Drive: The first new action for Gundam Versus on PS4. While flying, this action will allow you to drop down at high speed. This move cancels out all actions while performing. The purpose of this action is to change the timing of your landing, allowing you to lessen the weapon delay.

Striker Select: You can make any Mobile Suit into an ally (Striker) and call them out for an attack. During the alpha test, players got to choose two out of three Mobile Suit units as their Strikers. Strikers can be summoned by consuming your Striker Gauge, which fills up over time. The screenshots show GM, Ball, Thunderbolt GM as Strikers.

Awakening System: Awakening allows you to choose from two types out of “Blaze Gear” and “Lightning Gear.” Blaze Gear is an Awakening that activates instantly. Once active, it does effects such as improved follow-up melees and more. Lightning Gear is a continuous-type, which provides bonuses such as lock-on range increase, and more.

Gundam Versus is in development for PlayStation 4.
