The Gundam UC Engage protagonist, Pesce Montagne, will begin her story as a Newtype candidate raised in Zeon’s Flanagan Institute. The new mobile suit coming to Gundam UC Engage will be codenamed Engage Zero. Anaheim Electronics designed this option plan for the RX-78GP00 Gundam Blossom as a response to the Earth Federation’s demand for an all-purpose high-performance mech.

The game’s initial title lineup has confirmed all mainline Universal Century TV shows, OVAs, and movies from the first Gundam to Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. While Bandai Namco has yet to show many characters, it also confirmed the inclusions of Gundam: 08th MS Team, MS Igloo, Thunderbolt, War in the Pocket, and Narrative. The company will reveal more titles in the lineup in the near future.

As announced in the initial reveal, Gundam U.C. Engage‘s gameplay system will feature 6vs6 strategy battles. The player can also modify their squadron’s formation before the battle begins. The formation will actually determine whether the squadron can deal with enemies efficiently or not.

Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage will be available for Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan in 2021.
