Iron-Blooded Orphans G is a mobile app that will combine anime with visual novel and turn-based battle games in its storytelling. It will gradually cover the Iron-Blooded Orphans TV show that aired from 2015 to 2017. Bandai Namco will add new side-story episodes featuring the livelihood of characters from the TV show. The app will also include Urðr Hunt, a brand-new spin-off story that takes place in the same Post Disaster universe.

The company also runs a couple of campaigns to promote the mobile game’s launch. It is holding a sweepstake on the Japanese Twitter account. Ten lucky people who applied by November 4, 2022, will be able to win a replicated illustration of Mikazuki Augus and Wistario Afam, the respective protagonists of Iron-Blooded Orphans and Urðr Hunt.

When over 300,000 people either pre-registered for the mobile game or followed its social media accounts on Twitter or Line, Bandai Namco will let all players unlock the app’s key art as a scene card, the Gundam Barbatos 1st Form as a usable Mobile Suit, and Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka as pilots.

In 2021, Bandai Namco announced that it would release Iron-Blooded Orphans G in Spring 2022. However, it missed the window as it still had not released the app by the time the season ended. With the pre-registrations just opened, the company stated that it will still release the mobile game within 2022.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G will launch for Android and iOS mobile devices in 2022 in Japan.
