Earlier this week, Sunrise prepared a Chronicle UC compilation video for viewers to watch before Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway hits theaters. Similarly, the two free movies will give people the chance to recall what occurred during the first bit of Reconguista in G so they can keep up when the third movie in the compilation film series premieres. Reconguista in G III: Legacy in Space will appear in Japanese theaters on July 22, 2021.

Reconguista in G originally aired on television in 2014. It was the first Gundam television series written and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino since 1999, when he made Turn A Gundam. On November 29, 2019, the first of five compilation films premiered. The first movie, Gundam Reconguista in G I – Go! Core Fighter, covers episodes 1 to 5 of the show. The sequel, Gundam Reconguista in G II – Bellri’s Fierce Charge, covers episodes 6 to 11.

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway will premiere on June 11, 2021 in Japanese theaters, which is where viewers can also obtain a serial number to watch the first two Gundam Reconguista in G movies. Gundam Reconguista in G III: Legacy in Space will air on July 22, 2021.
