Gundam Battle Operation Next brings 5-on-5 mecha battles to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Bandai Namco’s free to play Gundam fighting game has dozens of Mobile Suits including the massive Psyco Gundam from Zeta Gundam.
Players will be able to battle in the Great Canyon (top), which has varying amounts of vertical space, and Heliopolis (bottom).
Gundam Battle Operation Next will debut in Japan in 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Bandai Namco is accepting pre-registrations and users that register early will receive three Sortie Energy items as a bonus. Like Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation before it, players use Sortie Energy to play missions. Sortie Energy slowly recovers over time, but you can only hold three Sortie Energy items at a time. If you want to play the game more frequently you can purchase Sortie Energy items with money. Bandai Namco is also selling an EXP Booster that increases the amount of experience points earned, Development Point Booster which increases development points earned, and a Parts Booster that increases the amount of items earned when completing a battle.
