Bandai Spirits’ hobby division revealed Gundam Assemble, a new tabletop miniatures game that will also feature buildable Gunpla model kits. The new game will feature Mobile Suits and warships from various titles throughout the Gundam franchise. Each unit will have unique abilities, and the player will be able to construct both scenarios based on the original works and crossover events.

In addition, Bandai Namco will hold an in-house crossover with the upcoming TCG Gundam Card Game. The group will include the tabletop game’s unit kits based on the Token Cards for each of the four Starter Decks, which will be released worldwide in July 2025.

The Gunplas used for this new tabletop game will have some differences from the regular model kits. While the most common 1/144 scale Gunpla kits of an RX-78-2 Gundam would stand at around 12.5 cm (~5 inches) upon completion, the paintable kits for Gundam Assemble will only result in 5 cm (~2 inches) tall units. In addition, the smaller kits will also be mostly static with almost no movable parts.
