The Blu-ray deluxe edition of Gundam AGE contained audio commentary, but for the Blu-ray Box, the staff recorded new material. Like the deluxe edition, the Blu-ray Box will come with four drama CDs, as well as a special booklet that summarizes them. Special features such as the credit-less openings and endings, promotional trailers, and commercials are also in this set.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE aired in 2011. Sunrise created and produced it in collaboration with video game developer Level-5. As opposed to other Gundam works that follow the story of one protagonist, AGE takes place over three generations of the Asuno family.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and 5. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G will release in Spring 2022 for mobile devices. The next Gundam anime, The Witch From Mercury, will air in 2022.

The Blu-Ray Box of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE will launch in Japan on February 25, 2022.
