Back on March 3, 2019, PQube teased a new Nintendo Switch game using pink and blue color blocks. Now, the title has been revealed. It is bringing Gun Gun Pixies, a shooter from Compile Heart that originally appeared on the PlayStation Vita, to the Nintendo Switch and PC worldwide in 2019.
In Gun Gun Pixies, players follow B-Tan and Kamepon. These two women are aliens from a planet where people have trouble getting along with one another. They are sent to Earth, where they will explore a women’s college dorm to see how people interact. However, these aliens are much, much smaller than normal humans, leading them to look like pixies as they run around the world.
Gun Gun Pixies digital and physical versions will be released. The physical version will have a Day One Edition that includes an art book with a copy of the game. PQube did not note how many pages long the art book will be, but the initial promotional image makes it look like a softcover book.
Here is the Gun Gun Pixies announcement trailer.
Gun Gun Pixies originally launched on the PlayStation Vita in April 2017. It was never released outside of Japan. It will appear on the Nintendo Switch and PC in North America and Europe later in 2019. An official website is now open.
