Johnny Sfondi has been a playable character in almost all the Guilty Gear games up until now, but he was a non-playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN. Johnny users can finally rejoice, as he’s been announced as a playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator.

Arc System Works announced two sets of location test periods. The first one will go from June 5th until the 7th, and the second test period will start on June 19th until the 21st.

The location tests will be held in three different cities across Japan. Sega Akihabara Building 1 for Tokyo, Sega Namba Avion at Osaka, and the Neo Amusement Space A-Cho for Kyoto. Details on the second location test period will be announced on a later date.

More new system implementations will also be announced for Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, and perhaps we may see more characters added to the mix as well.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator is in development for arcades. A console version has yet to be announced, but given Arc System Works’ track record, it will most likely be announced in the near future.
